- Do you ever wonder what age appropriate activities would be fun to do with your Little? If so, you're in luck! We have gathered many great ideas and organized them by age. This should be used as a guideline only. Every Little is unique in his or her ability to participate, learn and interact. Many of these activities are appropriate for all ages.

- Ages 5-7
- Bake and frost cookies
- Fly a kite on a windy day
- Go for a walk on the beach and collect shells, rocks or even seaweed!
- Feed the ducks at a local park
- Make a present for someone special
- Play UNO, Crazy 8 or Old Maid
- Go for a hike and pack a picnic
- Visit a pet store and decide which is the oddest pet
- Cloud watch on a bright summer day
- Eat ice cream together

- Start a scrapbook to document your times together
- Go on a camera scavenger hunt to find odd objects to photograph
- Make greeting, get well, or holiday cards for special people
- Visit the zoo at feeding time
- Read a selected book out loud and tape record it
- Play miniature golf or go bowling
- Play Monopoly, Life, Sorry, or Hangman
- Take a trip to the museum
- Go for a bike ride
- Make a lemonade stand teaching basic business principles

- Watch a TV program and identify negative stereotypes
- Look up your state on the Internet. What are some fun facts?
- Build and paint a bird house, put it outside and wait for occupants
- Rent roller blades and learn to skate
- Make a list of people you admire and then look them up on the Internet
- Visit the SPCA and offer to walk the dogs
- Mow the lawn or wash the car-it can be fun!
- Play computer and video games together
- Participate in a community service activity to show your Little about volunteering
- Plant a garden

- Research what happened on the day your Little was born
- Go to a sporting event
- Check out the classified advertisements and discuss what each job requires in terms of education and experience
- Go out to eat at an ethnic restaurant. What is your favorite dish?
- Explore new music together
- Plan and shop for ingredients to cook dinner together
- Go to a concert
- Try mastering something difficult-juggling, cooking a soufflé, water color painting
- Watch sports together
- Read the newspaper and talk about it
- Buy ten shares of stock in an inexpensive company that your Little will recognize and watch it make or lose money
