Susan Rolston
Chief Executive Officer
Susan Rolston is the Chief Executive Officer of Big Brother Big Sisters of Pinellas County, Inc. Susan joined Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2001, following 16 years with the Pinellas County School System. Her tenure with the school system included three years as their Corporate Volunteer Program Coordinator, where her passion and belief in mentoring was formed. Since assuming the role of CEO, Susan has led the agency to substantial growth in all areas, including a 200% increase in the number of children served and a significant expansion of both the budget and donor base.

Susan is a well respected community and industry leader, having served on many Boards and Associations, including the United Way Partner Agency Association, the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of America National Leadership Council, PACE Center for Girls, and the Florida Association of Partners In Education (FAPE). She is a graduate of Leadership Pinellas, and was selected as a coach for new CEO Training by BBBS of America.

A skilled leader and team builder, Susan led the way for collaboration with other nonprofit agencies to establish the Kinship Services Network Pinellas, a unique program for relative caregivers in Pinellas County. Her relationship building skills have established a network of Corporate Partnerships to provide both volunteers and funding for the agency, and built important agency collaborations with R’Club, YMCA, School Boards, The Children’s Home, Catholic Charities and Boys & Girls Clubs.

Susan holds a BA in Management from Eckerd College and a Masters in Nonprofit Administration Certificate from the USF Graduate School of Public Administration.
